Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Eureka Rockup on our website or app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What Eureka Rockup is

Eureka Rockup is a platform that connects people who need small tasks done ("customers") with people who offer to do them ("taskers"). We are not a party to any agreement between a customer and a tasker, we don't employ taskers, and we don't supervise or guarantee the work, the people, or the quality or safety of any task. Taskers are independent and are responsible for their own work, tax, insurance and any licences the work requires.

Where the service is available

Eureka Rockup is currently available in Australia only. Tasks must be located in Australia, and the service is intended for people in Australia. We may open to other countries later and will update these terms and tell you when we do.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and give accurate information.
• Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone.

Payments

For now, Eureka Rockup does not process payments. Customers and taskers agree the price and arrange payment directly between themselves. We are not responsible for payment disputes. When online payments are introduced we will update these terms and tell you.

Safety

• We do not currently run identity or background checks on users. Use your own judgement, read ratings and reviews, and chat before you agree to a task.
• Share your exact address only with the person you have chosen, and only when you are comfortable. Never share passwords or financial details.
• For in-home tasks, consider having another person present, and tell someone where you will be.
• If you are in danger, contact emergency services first.

Rules

Don't use Eureka Rockup to:

• post or do anything illegal, or work that legally requires a licence you don't hold;
• harass, threaten, discriminate against or scam anyone, or ask people for money up front;
• post sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content, or content you don't have the right to share;
• post personal information about other people, spam, or interfere with the service;
• use the platform to avoid our rules, or create accounts after being suspended.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report any user, task or conversation and block anyone from the app or website. We review reports and may remove content, cancel tasks, suspend or permanently ban accounts, at our discretion and without notice where we think it is needed to keep people safe.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store, display and share it as needed to run the service (for example, showing your task to other users). Public tasks are visible to anyone, so don't include private details in them.

Disputes between users

We may help users sort out a problem, for example by reviewing reports, but we are not obliged to and we don't decide legal disputes.

Limits of our responsibility

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from tasks, from other users' actions, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.
